Hello, this is Raz. Full name Razvan David Mutilica. Originally written Răzvan Mutilică, but the carabiniere at the immigration office has upended the fate of the breve (ă).

I have a curious mind and a myriad of interests. Fermenting, sewing, poetry, film and photography are just a few.

I have a long history of migration, having moved from Romania to Italy as a child, within Italy as a teenager, and to Germany as a young adult. Berlin is currently my home.

Together with a long-time friend, I am founding a fermented drinks & foods business. It all started when I took some antibiotics and realised that most products on the shelves are made for the shelf rather than the consumer. More on that here: [probio.studio].

I have fun working with my hands and building things, including furniture. I also like developing systems and websites. I enjoy puzzles, do yoga and play squash. I’m fluent in English, German, Italian and Romanian. My Spanish sounds like funny Italian when I speak it and can handle most conversations. Next I’d like to learn French and Russian, and I’m looking to be more active in creating art.
